Intern, Supply Chain (Logistics)

Location: Owensboro, Kentucky, United States; 12-week onsite summer internship from May through August. Ability to travel 25% is required.

What you will do

• Monitor reverse logistics, prepare reports, conduct root cause analysis, and track KPIs.
• Develop process improvements that enhance quality, asset recovery yields, and profitability.
• Support inbound and outbound shipment routing, inventory processes, and warehouse operations.
• Use Oracle, RF Smart, Excel, and internal ticketing systems to manage supply chain tasks and return order statuses.
• Participate in contract negotiation and coordinate with returns processors, stakeholders, and business owners.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and follow safety and quality guidelines.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old by the start of the internship and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.75 after each completed semester or term.
• Junior or senior students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Interest in a career in supply chain or materials management, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy are required.
• Ability to travel 25%.

• Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.
