Senior Frontend Engineer, Conversational & Gen UI (AI)

What you will do

• Deliver the AI assistant experience from prototype through production for financial advisors.
• Build the framework that defines what hirify.global surfaces an agent can access and what actions it can perform.
• Design a renderer that transforms model output into validated, submittable interfaces.
• Version and test the wire contract between the frontend and agent backend teams.
• Design APIs and documentation that enable other teams to build independently.
• Mentor engineers and establish a high quality bar through code review.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building production web applications, including substantial frontend product experience.
• Expert frontend engineering skills with strict typing; React and TypeScript experience.
• Production experience with LLMs, agentic systems, tool calling, streaming responses, and conversational interfaces.
• Strong understanding of modular frontend architecture, distributed systems, timeouts, retries, idempotency, and failure isolation.
• Experience with Python, automated testing, Git-based pull requests, and CI workflows.
• Strong product judgment, ownership, documentation, collaboration, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent-to-UI frameworks or component libraries used by multiple teams.
• AWS experience with Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, or CloudWatch.
• Experience with engineering platforms, internal tooling, code generation, migrations, or spec-to-code pipelines.
• Background in wealth management, financial services, analytics products, profiling, bundle size, or render performance.
