TL;DR
Senior Fullstack Developer (React, Node, AWS & Agentic AI): Design and build scalable web applications, cloud architectures, APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions on AWS with an accent on React, TypeScript, backend services, infrastructure as code, and AI-assisted development. Focus on building serverless systems, integrating AI agents and managed AI services, solving complex system integration challenges, and optimizing performance, security, availability, and cost efficiency.
Location: Herndon, Virginia, with hybrid office attendance once per quarter; U.S. Citizenship required and the ability to obtain TSA Public Trust

What you will do
- Design and develop scalable web applications with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
- Design and implement AWS cloud, serverless, and event-driven architectures using services including Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, S3, Aurora PostgreSQL, and Bedrock.
- Build APIs, microservices, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and containerized solutions.
- Use agentic AI development tools for code generation, refactoring, testing, and specification-driven development.
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and contribute to product and release planning.
- Resolve system integration challenges and optimize applications for performance, scalability, availability, security, and cost efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of full-stack software development experience.
- Strong React and TypeScript experience, plus backend development with Node.js or Python.
- Hands-on AWS experience, including AWS CLI and SAM CLI, and knowledge of PostgreSQL or relational databases.
- Experience with GitLab, CI/CD, automated testing, Agile methodologies, Docker, and containerized environments such as ECS or EKS.
- Experience with AI-powered or agentic development tools, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain TSA Public Trust are required.
Nice to have
- AWS certification and experience with serverless architectures, event-driven AWS patterns, or managed AI/ML services such as Bedrock.
- Experience building or integrating AI agents, including RAG, agent orchestration, tool use, MCP, LangChain, or Bedrock Agents.
- DevOps, monitoring, observability, security certifications, open-source AI contributions, personal GitHub projects, or experience with Oracle.
