Junior Java Developer with German

What you will do

• Develop customized Java software solutions throughout the full software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical design, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of existing applications.
• Collaborate with internal developers, international teams, and customer architects.
• Build sustainable and maintainable software architectures.
• Work with relational databases and web technologies in client projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Initial experience with Java and object-oriented programming through academic projects or personal learning.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or Oracle, as well as web technologies.
• Familiarity with Git and software development lifecycle concepts.
• Basic understanding of Spring Boot and JPA/Hibernate.
• German at minimum C1 level is mandatory; good English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of cryptography, authentication, authorization, MFA, and eID solutions such as Keycloak, eIDAS, or LDAP.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and SonarQube.
• Experience with APIs, automated testing, data migration, Selenium, Jira XRay, infrastructure as code, or cloud platforms.
• Exposure to public-sector clients, authorities, or additional programming languages.
