Data Engineer (Snowflake/Agentic AI)

Location: United States — Remote

Salary: $110,000–$155,000 annually, depending on experience and location.

What you will do

• Build and support highly available batch, distributed, and real-time data pipelines.
• Develop fault-tolerant, self-healing, adaptive, and accurate data computational pipelines.
• Lead implementations of complex data engineering programs and provide technical consultation.
• Tune distributed queries operating over billions of rows.
• Maintain system and project documentation and perform root cause analysis for permanent issue resolution.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience with Agentic AI, Snowflake, SQL Server with T-SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong Python and FastAPI skills, including scikit-learn for percentiles and outlier detection.
• Knowledge of acceptance and likelihood models, including carrier-acceptance probability logic.
• Experience consuming Kafka data, plus familiarity with C#, AWS services including S3, RDS, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch, and Terraform.
• Industry experience in data engineering, analytics, or data science, or a quantitative bachelor's or master's degree.
