Environmental Test Supervisor

Salary: $100,000–$275,000 annual base salary

What you will do

• Oversee the Environmental Test Facility, including test planning, preparation, execution, surveillance, scheduling, and test-cell assignment.
• Supervise approximately four union technicians, assign daily work, conduct evaluations, and support professional development and training.
• Maintain facility documentation, equipment inventories, user manuals, drawings, capabilities records, and maintenance schedules.
• Plan preventive maintenance, calibration, repairs, upgrades, acquisitions, installations, acceptance testing, and re-certification for test cells.
• Lead troubleshooting and corrective-action planning while analyzing test-cell usage data, failure rates, critical spares, obsolescence, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate vendors, procurement, audits, laboratory services, custodial services, facility utilization, resource scheduling, and five-year capital planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Business or a relevant field.
• 5–7 years of experience in laboratory or facility operations management, including supervisory experience.
• Experience operating environmental test cells and their supporting software.
• Strong organizational, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work under pressure.
• Familiarity with MRP and scenario planning, plus technical skills with Excel, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
• Must obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
