Senior VDC Manager (BIM)

Location: Remote within the United States; US work authorization required. Occasional travel to client sites and hirify.global locations is required.

Salary: $130,000–$145,000 per year, plus eligibility for bonuses.

What you will do

• Lead enterprise-level VDC/BIM projects for large general contractor clients across architecture, structure, and MEP trades.
• Manage 3D BIM creation, clash detection and resolution, 4D simulations, 5D quantity and cost analysis, point-cloud-to-BIM, virtual reality, augmented reality, and related applications.
• Implement BIM for construction and fabrication, including coordination documents, spool drawings, BIM-to-factory, BIM-to-field, and automated layout workflows.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, resources, vendors, and on-time delivery while identifying planning gaps.
• Serve as the primary account contact for an enterprise client, present project work, and build client relationships.
• Lead and develop BIM specialists and other project staff, contribute to hiring and reviews, and support training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of project management experience with a general contractor and 2–4 years implementing BIM/VDC workflows on large, complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of project management processes, tools, workflows, schedules, construction documents, drawings, specifications, submittals, and contracts.
• Experience managing multiple VDC projects covering scope, schedule, budget, team coordination, resource planning, and delivery with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, client-management, and negotiation skills.
• US work authorization and availability for occasional travel to client sites are required.

Nice to have

• Experience across the full project lifecycle from design development through fabrication and installation.
• Experience with construction processes, training, SOP development, proposals, estimating, and change orders.
• Experience with Lean principles, Agile delivery, or integrated project delivery methodologies.
• Project management certification or degree and experience mentoring junior team members.
