Staff Accountant (Medical Devices)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah; onsite or hybrid

Salary: $80,000–$105,000 annually

hirify.global Medical Devices Group designs, manufactures, and distributes enteral feeding and infusion pumps and advanced infusion systems.

What you will do

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare period-end journal entries and accruals.
• Analyze financial data and report budget and prior-period variances to management.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including financial statement preparation and review.
• Support external audits by responding to inquiries and providing documentation.
• Contribute to annual budgeting and the development and review of accounting policies and procedures.
• Participate in cross-training, special projects, and ad hoc financial duties.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least three years of experience in financial accounting, auditing, and/or financial reporting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, internal controls, and US-GAAP.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex spreadsheets and functions.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Access to U.S. export-controlled information is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• CPA certification.
