Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX; office attendance required Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Salary: USD 50,000–60,000 yearly

What you will do

• Manage daily accounts receivable operations across B2B, B2C, subscription-based, and high-volume customer accounts.
• Apply ACH, wire, check, and credit card payments accurately in the ERP and resolve unapplied cash.
• Prepare customer invoices, cash sales, AR reports, schedules, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor aging reports, identify delinquent accounts, and conduct professional collections outreach.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Revenue Accounting, and other teams to resolve billing disputes.
• Support quarterly reporting, audits, SOX-compliant documentation, and accounting process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting role.
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, revenue recognition, collections, and cash flow processes.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments and organizational levels.
