Facility Operations Manager

Location: 100% on-site in Ellicott City, MD 21043

Compensation: $50.00–$52.00 per hour

What you will do

• Serve as the primary on-site liaison for client stakeholders, operational issues, contract matters, financial concerns, and facility service expectations.
• Lead facility staff through supervision, coaching, hiring support, performance management, training, and team development.
• Manage operating budgets, financial forecasts, monthly reporting, and contract performance goals.
• Oversee vendors and subcontractors, including contract administration, KPI monitoring, safety compliance, quality control, and cost management.
• Maintain CMMS records, preventive maintenance documentation, repair justifications, extension requests, and relief event documentation.
• Direct facility operations, asset lifecycle planning, emergency response, and maintenance of MEP, HVAC, BAS, fire alarm, security, and access control systems.

Requirements

• Experience leading facility operations in a complex or mission-critical environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including MEP, HVAC, BAS, fire alarm, security, and access control systems.
• Experience with contract management, vendor and subcontractor oversight, budgets, reporting, and performance metrics.
• Ability to lead maintenance teams and coordinate emergency response and preventive maintenance activities.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Ellicott City, Maryland.
