Resident Maintenance Manager - Occupied Operations

Location: Mason, Ohio, United States; field-based maintenance duties are required.

Salary: $80,155–$100,182 annually, plus eligibility for quarterly bonus payments.

What you will do

• Lead and support a district maintenance team, including hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance communication.
• Oversee occupied maintenance operations from request intake and assessment through work assignment, vendor coordination, and resolution.
• Monitor operational KPIs, resource usage, and asset financial performance to improve cost, efficiency, quality, and timeliness.
• Ensure maintenance systems, procedures, safety practices, and service standards are followed consistently.
• Support quality control, escalations, seasonal planning, routine meetings, and collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
• Conduct field-based training, ride-alongs, inventory checks, and storage room inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree or technical certification is preferred.
• At least five years of progressive operations or multi-unit leadership experience, including hands-on use of basic hand and power tools.
• Experience with scheduling, dispatching, or resource allocation is strongly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and strong understanding of property maintenance or property management required.
• Working knowledge of residential maintenance operations, data, reports, basic P&L information, and Microsoft Office required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds to waist or shoulder height and 20 pounds above the head.

• Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
