CES - Waste Processing Tech II

Location: Lindenhurst, New York, United States; onsite facility operations

Salary: $24.86–$33.13 per hour

What you will do

• Operate facility and mobile equipment, including forklifts, cranes, yard dogs, pressure washers, power tools, and hand trucks.
• Process inbound waste materials and unload packages, liquid trucks, and containers.
• Conduct waste stream QA/QC and laboratory analysis for received and shipped materials.
• Complete receiving records, piece counts, material verification, manifest reviews, and other regulatory documentation.
• Maintain facility and grounds through cleaning and follow safety, permit, company, and OSHA requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience.
• Able to pass a respirator fit test and lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, power tools, and other facility equipment.
• Ability to use NetSuite and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, attention to detail, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend, twist, walk, stand, or sit for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Experience operating shredders, grinders, and conveyor belts within OSHA guidelines.
