Artificial Intelligence Engineer - Intern (Generative AI)

What you will do

• Experiment with generative AI models, frameworks, and platforms including Snowflake and Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Develop AI agent automation and intelligent workflows through sandbox prototyping and model evaluation.
• Design prompt engineering strategies, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation, to improve accuracy and contextual relevance.
• Evaluate AI applications for performance, cost efficiency, bias, content safety, and ethical compliance.
• Translate business requirements into generative AI and automation solutions with product, business, and technical teams.
• Implement reliable AI-driven solutions using appropriate tools and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, MIS, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability for a 12-week summer internship.
• Ability to work in Omaha, Nebraska, United States.
