2027 Early Careers: Analyst, Gen AI - Data Science (Generative AI): Developing and delivering data science and generative AI solutions for complex insurance business challenges with an accent on data engineering, LLM evaluation, RAG, and prompt engineering. Focus on building end-to-end ML projects, improving LLM performance, and deploying AI capabilities while meeting ethical and regulatory standards.
Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; in-person work required at least four days per week

What you will do
- Support the development and implementation of data science and generative AI models through hands-on data engineering.
- Collaborate with product managers, business leaders, engineers, and other teams to create data-driven solutions.
- Develop end-to-end data science and AI/ML projects from conceptualization through operational rollout.
- Use Retrieval-Augmented Generation, prompt engineering, and few-shot techniques to improve LLM performance.
- Contribute to data science activities, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of AI capabilities.
- Ensure solutions align with ethical and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a STEM field, primarily Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics, to be received by June 2027.
- Availability to start the program on July 26, 2027.
- Coursework or experience in data science, machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, NLP, or NLU.
- Experience across the full machine learning lifecycle and in applied data science within a product development environment.
- Programming and data engineering skills in Python and PySpark, including experience with pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, transformers, or LangChain.
- Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Palantir Foundry, Snowflake, or AWS SageMaker.
- Experience measuring LLM efficacy, assessing ground-truth dataset quality, and supporting product roadmap decisions.
- Understanding of generative AI model classes such as GPT, VAE, and GANs and their hyperparameters.
- Advanced degree pursuit beyond the required master’s degree.
