Summer 2027 Generative AI Internship

Location: Ohio — Columbus Metro; based in Columbus, Ohio

Salary: $23–$50 per hour

What you will do

• Apply large language models, AI agents, and agentic workflows across the insurance value chain.
• Work with business partners to develop integrated, end-to-end analytics and AI solutions.
• Use NLP, deep learning, and generative modeling techniques to support operational efficiency and innovation.
• Develop retrieval-augmented generation pipelines using vector databases.
• Apply cloud platforms and MLOps practices to machine learning solutions.
• Build professional technical and nontechnical skills in a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a related major; graduate candidates will be considered.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, and agentic systems.
• Experience with NLP, deep learning, generative modeling, vector databases, or RAG pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, or Scikit-learn.
• Some statistical or technical background is preferred.
• Availability for the internship from May through August 2027 in Columbus, Ohio.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for machine learning pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms and MLOps best practices.
