Location: Lost Hills, California; full-time on-site jobsite role in the U.S. with travel and extended out-of-town stays as required.

Salary: $95,272–$119,089 per year.

What you will do

  • Manage project commissioning teams and coordinate activities with engineering, construction, quality assurance, OEM suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop commissioning plans, procedures, milestone and deliverable lists, resource plans, and integrated P6 testing schedules.
  • Manage pre-commissioning, cold, warm, and hot commissioning tests for BESS, HV, and PV plant systems.
  • Support energization and MVAC and auxiliary power switching activities, including switching plans and LOTO requirements.
  • Analyze commissioning issues, recommend corrective actions, and prepare daily reports, test results, lessons learned, and warranty tracking logs.
  • Establish and manage safety tagging, lockout, red rope, and work permit programs through project substantial completion.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of testing and commissioning experience with utility-scale electrical systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience managing project teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of HV and MV switching, equipment grounding, LOTO procedures, protection and control systems, fiber testing, SCADA, and DC systems.
  • Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, NETA, IEEE, IES, API, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of NERC compliance and ISO and TSO testing and operational requirements.
  • Familiarity with DCS/SCADA control systems for utility-scale generation.
  • Experience with microprocessor protective relay testing.
