Flight Test Instrumentation Systems Engineer (Military Derivatives)

What you will do

• Collect and challenge flight test means requirements and define verification and validation strategies with stakeholders.
• Support design and production teams during the integration of flight test instrumentation into aircraft.
• Coordinate with customers, airworthiness authorities, and external stakeholders to prepare evidence and validation statements.
• Operate airborne and ground flight test means, prepare functional checks, and support active flight test campaigns in compliance with safety standards.
• Process and securely store flight test data according to its security classification and deliver required data to customers.
• Maintain flight test instrumentation configurations in airworthy condition and perform first-level troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Degree in Aeronautical, Industrial, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in systems engineering or flight test operations.
• Knowledge of systems engineering methodology and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Native or fluent Spanish and advanced English, written and spoken.
• Adaptability when working on complex topics, strong collaboration skills, and effective networking across multi-site teams.
