International Software Quality Engineer (French)

Location: Onsite in Cork, Ireland. Relocation support is available where applicable, including visa/work permit assistance.

What you will do

• Perform manual localization testing on software, printed documents, help content, and hardware items.
• Report localization and international functionality issues with clear details and recommendations, then follow them through resolution.
• Analyze international functionality issues and contribute to product quality improvements.
• Collaborate with international QA centers, engineering teams, translators, and project managers.
• Depending on experience, design test plans and create, maintain, and execute automated test procedures.
• Identify improvements to testing tools and processes and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Fluent French and English with full professional competence, plus proficiency in linguistics.
• Ability to represent a French user when interacting with software products.
• Knowledge of software localization and internationalization.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Localization quality assurance experience.
• Strong technical expertise and experience as an Apple software or hardware power user.
• Software engineering, test automation, project management, or macOS/iOS development experience with Xcode or Swift.
