Localisation QA Engineer with Italian

Location: Onsite 5 days per week in Cork, Ireland. Relocation to Ireland is supported with flights, subsidised accommodation, legal registration, and tax-number assistance.

Salary: €42,000 per annum, pro rata.

What you will do

• Perform localisation testing on software, print documents, help content, and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools, provide relevant information and suggestions, and track solutions through completion.
• Analyse international functionality issues.
• Collaborate with international software QA centres, engineering teams, translators, and project managers.
• Depending on experience, design and maintain manual test plans and automated test procedures.
• Assess automation opportunities and code software test automation in Swift, Objective-C, Python, Ruby, or other required languages.

Requirements

• Native Italian speaker with deep knowledge of linguistics.
• Experience in software localisation or internationalisation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, flexibility across multiple projects, and ability to work to varied deadlines.
• Collaborative, self-driven approach and an interest in finding software issues to improve product quality.
