Localisation QA Engineer with Finnish

Location: Onsite 5 days per week in Cork, Ireland only. Relocation support is available, including flights, subsidized accommodation, legal registration, and tax-number assistance.

Salary: €42,000 per annum, pro rata.

What you will do

• Perform localization testing on software, print documents, help content, and hardware items.
• Report issues using internal tools, provide relevant information and suggestions, and track solutions through completion.
• Analyze international functionality issues across localized products.
• Collaborate with international QA centers, engineering teams, translators, and project managers.
• Depending on experience, design and execute manual test plans and create, maintain, and run automated test procedures.
• Review software technically to identify automation opportunities and contribute test automation code.

Requirements

• Native-level Finnish and deep knowledge of linguistics.
• Experience in software localization or internationalization.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Self-driven approach, flexibility across multiple projects, and ability to manage different deadlines.
• Interest in finding software issues and improving product quality.
