Localisation QA Engineer with Norwegian

Location: Onsite in Cork, Ireland, 5 days per week

Salary: €42,000 per annum, pro rata

What you will do

• Perform localisation testing on software, print documents, help content, and hardware items.
• Report issues through internal tools, provide relevant information and suggestions, and follow fixes through completion.
• Analyse international functionality issues across localised products.
• Collaborate with international QA centres, engineering teams, translators, and project managers.
• Depending on experience, design and execute manual test plans and create, maintain, and run automated test procedures.
• Review software technically to identify automation opportunities and develop test automation.

Requirements

• Native Norwegian speaker with deep knowledge of linguistics.
• Experience in software localisation or internationalisation.
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently across multiple projects and deadlines.
• Interest in finding software defects and improving product quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with manual test planning and automated testing.
• Coding experience in Swift, Objective-C, Python, Ruby, or other programming languages.
