Senior Consultant Special Situations Advisory 26-27 (H/F)

Location: Based in Paris at the hirify.global campus in Levallois-Perret, France; frequent on-site assignments overseas, often with short notice and several consecutive weeks abroad.

What you will do

• Conduct operational diagnostics in subsidiaries facing financial, governance, management, or post-acquisition challenges.
• Reconstruct financial statements and remediate material accounting errors ahead of closing or audit deadlines.
• Establish financial reporting lines and KPI frameworks between headquarters and complex subsidiaries.
• Support crisis and profit-warning management by quantifying impacts, defining short-term action plans, and stabilising operations.
• Provide interim finance leadership and manage entity openings, closures, demergers, workforce reduction plans, and post-M&A transitions.
• Lead complex PMO engagements where governance frameworks and critical delivery structures are missing.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from a leading business or engineering school, or an equivalent university degree, with a strong finance or accounting foundation.
• At least three full annual cycles in external financial audit or advisory at a Big Four firm or equivalent, including complex, multi-entity, or international engagements.
• Strong expertise in financial fundamentals, financial statement analysis, and IFRS, US GAAP, and French GAAP.
• Ability to work calmly and rigorously in crisis situations, with limited information and rapidly changing priorities.
• Full professional English proficiency and at least intermediate French proficiency; proficiency in at least one additional language is required.
• Strong communication, synthesis, client-orientation, interpersonal, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; data analytics experience is advantageous.
