Full-Stack Engineer Lead (AI)

Location: São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil; onsite

What you will do

• Design and develop enterprise-grade full-stack applications across UI, API, integration, data, and automation layers.
• Build AI-enabled capabilities using LLMs, agents, retrieval systems, prompt orchestration, and workflow automation.
• Define APIs, integration contracts, architecture patterns, non-functional requirements, and operational readiness standards.
• Lead technical direction across multiple initiatives, including architecture reviews, modernization, technical debt reduction, and platform evolution.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering, DevSecOps, CI/CD maturity, automated testing, observability, security, and compliance.
• Mentor engineers through technical coaching, design reviews, pair programming, architecture guidance, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership experience.
• Strong experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, REST APIs, GraphQL, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Experience designing distributed cloud-native solutions on AWS and/or Azure, with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, observability, monitoring, and logging.
• Practical experience integrating LLMs, AI agents, and external enterprise services into applications.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, performance optimization, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes, ECS, EKS, AKS, or other container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML operationalization, model evaluation, monitoring, governance, and regulated environments.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Robot Framework, Selenium, or engineering productivity platforms.
• Experience with low-code and workflow automation platforms such as Microsoft Power Apps, Power Platform, Appian, or Mendix.
