Software Engineer II (Fintech)

Location: Remote in Brazil

Salary: $2,800–$6,000 gross per month in USD

What you will do

• Build and maintain innovative product features across the hirify.global platform.
• Design, develop, and deliver scalable full-stack solutions with engineers across multiple teams.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, planning, estimation, and project delivery.
• Collaborate with product feature owners to improve product functionality.
• Mentor engineers who are beginning their careers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production incidents.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in software development at a mid-level.
• Experience solving technical problems as part of an engineering team.
• Modern frontend development experience, preferably with React.
• Backend development experience with Go or a similar compiled, statically typed language.
• Intermediate knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools to improve productivity, research, and communication.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservice architecture, software development methodologies, and release processes.

Hiring process
