Software Engineer II (Fintech)

Location: Remote within Brazil

Salary: $2,800–$6,000 USD gross per month

What you will do

• Build and maintain innovative product features across the hirify.global platform.
• Design, develop, and deliver scalable solutions with engineers across multiple teams.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions, code reviews, planning, estimations, and project delivery.
• Collaborate with product feature owners and provide constructive improvement suggestions.
• Mentor early-career engineers and contribute to a full-stack engineering team.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to production incidents.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in software development and technical problem-solving.
• Experience with modern frontend development; React experience is preferred.
• Ability to work with backend-focused languages such as Go or another statically typed compiled language.
• Intermediate knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL.
• Demonstrated experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Experience writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
• Familiarity with software engineering tools, development methodologies, and release processes.
