Branch Medical Group, a subsidiary of , manufactures implants for spinal and orthopedic applications and the instrumentation cases that house them.
What you will do
- Lead and support quality inspections of implant and instrument production assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Perform package testing and verify that in-process materials and finished products conform to specifications.
- Review drawings, production travelers, work instructions, process specifications, and sketches during inspections.
- Verify that inspection equipment and tools are calibrated and used according to procedures.
- Identify non-conformances, notify operators, and escalate quality issues to the Quality Control Supervisor.
- Support inspector training and help the department meet production targets while maintaining quality requirements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three years of Quality Control inspection experience; five years preferred.
- Seven years of manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret medical-device engineering drawings, including GD&T.
- Experience with automated inspection systems and standard measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, profilometers, and go/no-go gages.
- Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and ISO standards, along with strong math, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
