Quality Control Inspector I - 3rd shift

Location: Arlington Heights, Illinois; onsite, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM

Salary: $20.25–$29.25 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, in-process items, and finished products against established quality standards.
• Perform visual and dimensional tests using measurement tools and equipment, and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Identify defects, deviations, and non-conformities and collaborate with production or distribution teams on corrective actions and product disposition.
• Assess damaged inbound finished goods, repackage products, and support relabeling, rework, recall verification, and pedigree checks.
• Assist with inventory stock checks, quality-control procedures, continuous-improvement initiatives, and assigned projects.
• Follow SOPs, quality systems, OSHA guidelines, and company regulations; operate powered material-handling equipment when required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous experience required.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Attention to detail, basic computer skills, and basic math, including fractional-to-decimal conversions.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and other documents and prioritize details in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments, wear PPE or company-issued gowns for extended periods, stand or walk for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
