Claim Professional Development Program (CPDP) Intern

What you will do

• Complete structured onboarding on claims systems and protocols.
• Gain exposure to personal and business insurance claims of basic to moderate complexity.
• Investigate claims, estimate damage, determine applicable coverage, and help resolve customer issues.
• Learn claim investigation, negotiation, and resolution strategies from experienced professionals through desk work and ride-alongs.
• Work with a manager and mentor on core assignments and complete challenging project work.
• Build customer service, analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Requirements

• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the United States now and in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree obtained or in progress.
• Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Suggested academic backgrounds include Business Administration, Liberal Arts with a business focus, Business Management, Risk Management and Insurance, or another business-related discipline.
