MUSIC Underwriting Summer Internship (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid; applicants must be within commuting distance of Dresher, Pennsylvania or Scottsdale, Arizona

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

• Support business projects related to growth, profitability, and operational goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve business challenges and develop new ideas.
• Contribute to initiatives involving AI integration and process improvement.
• Learn underwriting fundamentals and gain exposure to insurance carrier operations.
• Participate in team projects, leadership exposure, and a community volunteer day.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student and available for an 11-week, full-time summer internship.
• Interest in the insurance industry, particularly excess and surplus insurance.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High school diploma required; full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors are preferred. Risk Management majors are preferred, while Finance or equivalent majors are accepted.
