Claims Workers Comp Summer Internship (Workers Compensation)

Location: Hybrid position in Charlotte, North Carolina; applicants must be within commuting distance

Salary: USD $22.00–$25.00 per hour

What you will do

• Shadow and support workers compensation adjusters with administrative duties.
• Issue payments and complete claims-related administrative tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement and other special projects.
• Support claims professionals with large account management.
• Help automate the department’s weekly scorecard and track key performance indicators.
• Report results to relevant teams and build practical insurance business knowledge.

Requirements

• Must be a current college student to qualify.
• High school diploma required.
• Ideal candidates are full-time undergraduate juniors or seniors who can perform at a professional level.
• Interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
