Field Service Technician (Cryogenic)

What you will do

• Install and maintain on-site nitrogen generation plants and bulk medical or industrial gas systems.
• Support cryogenic bulk installations at hirify.global facilities and customer sites.
• Restore and optimize pressure reduction equipment, electrical controls, alarms, piping, and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance, annual site evaluations, site surveys, and system troubleshooting.
• Maintain installation parts inventory and coordinate hazard signage, fencing, and site safety requirements.
• Follow applicable federal, state, provincial, and local codes, company procedures, and safety policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Obtain a Certified Brazer Certificate within 30 days of employment.
• Valid driver's license and minimum age of 21.
• Experience with cryogenic equipment, pressure piping, compressors, gas systems, welding or brazing, and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, safety documentation, technical drawings, and operating procedures.
• Ability to respond to emergencies 24 hours per day when scheduled for emergency coverage.

Nice to have

• HVAC or refrigeration certification.
• ASSE Medical Gas Credentials.
• At least two years of industrial field service experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA 99 and NFPA 55 requirements.
• Experience repairing regulators, piping, and liquid leaks.
