Field Service Technician- Amazon- Amarillo, TX

Location: Amarillo, Texas 79108, United States; onsite customer-site field service with travel and on-call emergency support as required.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, diagnose, and service fuel cells at the customer site.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and evaluate fleet performance, including field retrofits and software and hardware upgrades.
• Provide on-call and emergency customer support and coordinate aftermarket support with customer personnel and hydrogen suppliers.
• Order tools, equipment, and parts and maintain site inventory and system documentation.
• Complete incident reports, service logs, maintenance records, and other administrative documentation.
• Apply field safety procedures, travel as required, and represent hirify.global professionally.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework; formal training may substitute for direct experience.
• At least three years of direct mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• General mechanical aptitude and the ability to solve technical problems independently.
• Valid driver license, clean driving record, and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly without assistance and provide a standard set of personal tools; specialized fuel cell tools are provided.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, time-management, reliability, and computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of lift truck operation and applications.
