UABOS Spain: WRM-AGE Tool Crib/TMDE-PMEL/HAZMAT-Material Control Specialist

Location: Spain, at Morón Air Base; onsite work in an active flightline and industrial environment

Provides operational, logistics, engineering, and support services for U.S. armed forces and government personnel at overseas military bases.

What you will do

• Manage daily inventories, inspections, accountability, replacement, and purchasing for Composite Tool Kits, special tools, and equipment.
• Administer Foreign Object Damage prevention and the USAF Rag Control Program in accordance with DAFI 21-101.
• Monitor the local PMEL program through USAFE/Ramstein Air Base and track TMDE calibration schedules using PAMS and TCMax.
• Order hazardous materials through HAZPHARMACY and manage hazardous-waste accumulation, storage, and turn-in through the full lifecycle process.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets, provide chemical-hazard training, and support material-control purchasing and logistics activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while regularly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in logistics, tool and parts management, hazardous-material control, or a related field, preferably in military or civilian aviation.
• Experience with automated inventory or asset-tracking systems such as TCMax, PAMS, or an equivalent logistics database.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in an active flightline or industrial environment and meet the physical requirements of the role.

Nice to have

• Heavy-equipment towing experience or forklift certification for equipment up to 10,000 pounds.
• WRM experience or experience supporting military aircraft base operations.
• Hands-on experience with TCMax, PAMS, HAZPHARMACY, USAF supply procedures, or aviation safety standards.
• HAZWOPER or comparable hazardous-material training.
• Military supply, logistics, AGE, or maintenance experience, including equivalent civilian aviation experience.
