Auto Claims Representative (Insurance)

Location: Tallahassee, Florida, United States; in-person initial training followed by a merit-based work-from-home program

What you will do

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle entry-level insurance claims under supervision.
• Review insurance policies, endorsements, and forms to build product knowledge.
• Communicate with claimants, legal counsel, agents, insureds, and third parties.
• Develop estimating and loss-adjustment skills using designated computer programs.
• Complete the company claims training program and maintain required adjuster licenses.
• Follow claim-handling procedures and resolve claims accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent property and casualty claims-handling experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, report-writing, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions, resolve complex issues, and work with diverse individuals.
• Ability to handle mathematical problems involving geometry, financial calculations, unit costs, and financial documents.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive, and a driving record meeting company underwriting guidelines.
• Must be able to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
