Mortgage Loan Sales (Mortgage Banking)

What you will do

• Originate residential mortgage loans through internal and external referral sources.
• Build and maintain referral relationships using sales strategies and activities.
• Counsel mortgage customers on lending options and solutions.
• Manage the loan pipeline, including documentation, closing dates, rate expirations, pricing, and compliance milestones.
• Support banking partnerships, customer experience initiatives, cross-sell activities, and external sales activities.
• Provide feedback on process efficiency and relationship-processing performance; assist with recruiting support team members when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; a BS or BA degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of related job experience.
• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use general office equipment, a personal computer, and job-related software.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Must possess a Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry identifier; experience with Easylender, Uni-form, and Genesis is required.
