Salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

Peerless Instrument provides electronic assemblies, systems, and software for US military applications, including instrumentation and control systems used in Navy propulsion systems.

What you will do

• Execute complex and technical procurement activities, including high-value purchases of materials, supplies, services, and electronic components.
• Evaluate bids, select suppliers, and negotiate pricing, delivery, quality, service, and contract terms.
• Process purchase requisitions, change orders, and requests for supplier quotations.
• Track awards through order completion and manage subcontract cost, schedule, and scope.
• Resolve supplier claims, rejected or excess shipments, returns, cancellations, engineering changes, and quality issues.
• Conduct supplier site visits and assess production capability, performance, and delivery.

Requirements

• Strong experience procuring electronic components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data manipulation and presentation.
• Experience working with vendors and suppliers.
• Experience with inventory management software and systems.
• Knowledge of purchasing regulations and procedures, including applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong attention to detail and organization.
