Location: Austin, TX, United States; onsite role with 10% travel

Salary: $60,000–$73,500 per year

What you will do

• Purchase materials, supplies, machinery, and services for manufacturing facilities.
• Maintain supply continuity by following up on orders, verifying deliveries, approving payments, and maintaining purchasing records.
• Coordinate supplier shipments and resolve receiving, delivery, and billing issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers on demand and supply planning, including MRP pull-ins and push-outs.
• Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts.
• Negotiate and execute purchases and RFQs while balancing cost, quality, reliability, and urgency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Up to 1 year of related experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of material cost management, shortage management, supplier capability, purchase order management, and materials or equipment buying processes.
• Ability to work onsite in Austin, Texas.
