Buyer I, New College Grad- Bachelor's (Austin, TX)

Location: Austin, TX, United States; travel required 10% of the time; relocation eligible.

Salary: $60,000.00–$73,500.00 per year.

What you will do

• Maintain supply continuity for manufacturing by following up on orders, verifying deliveries, approving payments, maintaining records, and following purchasing processes.
• Drive timely delivery and shipment of parts from suppliers to factories, resolving shipment, receiving, and billing issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers on demand and supply planning, including pull-ins and push-outs to meet MRP demand.
• Drive inventory and E&Z reduction efforts.
• Negotiate and execute purchases and RFQs to achieve the lowest cost while considering quality, source reliability, and urgency, with support from an experienced buyer.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and Program Managers to resolve supply issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice to have

• Up to 1 year of related experience.
• Basic understanding of material cost management, shortage management, supplier capability, purchase order management, and materials and equipment buying processes.
