Buyer II (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Salary: $64,000–$88,000 per year

What you will do

• Purchase materials, supplies, machinery, and services for semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
• Maintain supply continuity by following up on orders, verifying deliveries, approving payments, and maintaining purchasing records.
• Coordinate timely part shipments and resolve receiving, billing, and supplier delivery issues.
• Collaborate with suppliers on demand and supply planning, including pull-ins and push-outs based on MRP requirements.
• Reduce inventory and related expenditure while negotiating purchase orders and RFQs for competitive costs.
• Resolve supply issues with engineering, manufacturing, and program management stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–2 years of related experience.
• Understanding of key business drivers in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex information.
• Ability to work in Austin, Texas.
