Development Manager (Integrations)

Location: Andover, United Kingdom; hybrid. Candidates must already live in the UK and have full eligibility to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers building and maintaining integration solutions.
• Oversee integration projects across requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with product management, architects, and development teams on technical specifications, scope, and delivery timelines.
• Drive code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, and other software development best practices.
• Ensure integration solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and performant.
• Manage performance, professional development, recruitment, onboarding, and stakeholder communication.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of software development experience, including significant work with integrations and APIs.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns and protocols such as REST, SOAP, SFTP, and EDI.
• Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language, such as Java, C#, Python, or Go.
• Understanding of cloud integration platforms, SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and Agile methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Integration Services, Azure Integration Services, or Google Cloud Integration.
