Engineering Lead (ERP Services)

Location: London, United Kingdom. Hybrid working model averaging two to three days onsite per week.

What you will do

• Own the engineering, operation, reliability, security and continuous evolution of the ERP technology capability.
• Lead the ERP engineering team, providing technical direction, coaching, feedback and career development.
• Establish clear ownership for Oracle Fusion, integrations, data flows and supporting enterprise services.
• Translate Finance and Product priorities into engineering plans while balancing delivery, platform health, operational work and technical debt.
• Shape ERP platform evolution, including modernisation, upgrades, sustainable configuration, integration and lifecycle decisions.
• Manage operational excellence, vendors, technical risks and collaboration with Architecture, Security, Finance and other technology teams.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading engineering teams responsible for complex, business-critical enterprise technology.
• Strong experience with ERP platforms or similarly complex enterprise SaaS ecosystems; Oracle Fusion experience is highly advantageous.
• Experience combining people leadership with technical leadership and developing engineering capability within teams.
• Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, data flows, system dependencies, reliability, security, observability and operational risk.
• Experience owning technology across its lifecycle, from delivery and change through production operation and continuous improvement.
• Experience working with Finance or other complex enterprise domains, vendors, architects and senior technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with major ERP transformation, implementation or modernisation.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion or comparable enterprise ERP platforms.
