Project Manager (Healthcare IT)

What you will do

• Plan, execute, monitor, and close integrated healthcare ERP implementation projects within deadlines and budget.
• Define project objectives, scope, milestones, deliverables, implementation plans, and resource plans.
• Manage project, quality, communications, budget, risks, issues, changes, and escalations.
• Lead and coordinate diverse project teams while maintaining communication with senior management and stakeholders.
• Represent implementation requirements during pre-sales and ensure compliance with relevant procedures and policies.
• Lead handover to support, lessons learned, and project closure activities after go-live.

Requirements

• Experience delivering multi-stranded integrated healthcare ERP solutions in a customer-facing project management role.
• Experience managing the full project lifecycle from initiation and execution through go-live and closure.
• Direct healthcare knowledge or at least 3 years of experience with a health IT system is highly preferred.
• Experience managing resources, time tracking, budgets, forecasting, and diverse multidisciplinary teams.
• University degree or at least 5 years of experience managing large, complex projects, preferably in healthcare IT.
• Technical knowledge of software implementation processes and a project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or PMI.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of hospital and business procedures, working practices, organizational structures, and clinical or business operations.
• Experience using TrakCare or another Hospital Information System as an end user.
• Experience with integrated implementations and broad understanding of IT technical delivery.
• PMI certification and senior-level management training.
