Analyst, Brokerage Placement - Wholesale, Farm and Agribusiness (Insurance)

Location: Remote - USA

Salary: $51,000–$53,000 annual

What you will do

• Review and evaluate new business and renewal submissions against company underwriting guidelines.
• Negotiate coverage terms and requirements, issue quotes, and bind policies accurately and on time.
• Research agency, carrier, and market data to support underwriting and business decisions.
• Maintain complete underwriting files and ensure compliance with state regulations and surplus lines requirements.
• Build relationships with agents, carriers, internal teams, and external partners while identifying profitable growth opportunities.
• Support service-level commitments, educate agencies on available carriers and products, and coordinate work with broader team priorities.

Requirements

• Active P&C and Surplus Lines licenses, or the ability to obtain them within 45 days.
• Ability to identify, evaluate, analyze, and recommend solutions for insurance needs.
• Understanding of state-specific brokerage statutes, insurance laws, and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, consultation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn job-related software and adapt to changing situations.
• 2+ years of related insurance experience preferred; an undergraduate degree may be considered in lieu of experience.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate studies in business, risk management, or a related field.
• Commercial Lines insurance experience.
• Professional designation such as CIC, CPCU, or equivalent.
