Corporate Insurance Analyst

Location: California hybrid — remote with occasional on-site work; salary range tied to the Goleta, California location or a specific non-California remote location

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Support global insurance programs covering property, casualty, workers’ compensation, liability, cargo, EPL, and cyber risks.
• Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders on underwriting data, renewal submissions, Certificates of Insurance, contracts, and compliance reviews.
• Assist with claims intake, reporting, adjuster and carrier coordination, and tracking of claim status, payments, and reserves.
• Maintain and analyze schedules of values, COPE data, insurance spend, and other risk information to create reports and dashboards.
• Support budgeting, actuarial analysis, insurance renewals, and accruals.
• Research market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments while contributing to loss prevention, contract reviews, compliance audits, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Risk Management, Insurance, Mathematics, Economics, or Business.
• 4+ years of progressive experience in insurance, claims, risk management, or a related discipline, including experience with an insurer or broker.
• Experience supporting insurance renewals, underwriting submissions, and Certificates of Insurance.
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Proficiency in Oracle and Adobe Acrobat, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Associate in Claims (AIC) certification.
