CNC Operator 2nd Shift

Location: Belle Plaine, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $19.00–$24.00 per hour

What you will do

• Set up, calibrate, operate, monitor, and maintain CNC machines according to standard operating procedures.
• Read blueprints, load raw materials, edit machine programs, and supervise automated cutting processes.
• Use measuring equipment and perform inspections before and after machining to verify specifications and tolerances.
• Operate an overhead crane or vacuum lift to position slab partials on the CNC table.
• Complete daily equipment safety inspections, maintain an organized work area, and follow company safety rules.
• Communicate and troubleshoot across the shop, cross-train on multiple equipment types, and support production needs.

Requirements

• Ability to follow technical drawings and specifications precisely.
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, materials, and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use basic measuring equipment, computers, and critical-thinking skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary machining education is preferred.
• 1–2+ years of machining experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push loaded carts, stand for up to 10 hours, and wear required PPE.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• AutoCAD experience.
