Resident Site Performance Management (Global Equipment Engineering & Project Management Lead)

Location: Nyíregyháza, Hungary; hybrid with an average of 3 days per week in the office. No relocation assistance is offered.

What you will do

• Lead manufacturing equipment and automation projects from concept through production release.
• Define equipment requirements, technical specifications, acceptance criteria, and risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Lead equipment qualification, validation, Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing, production buy-off, and deployment.
• Monitor equipment performance using Yield, Throughput, MTBF, MTTR, and Cost of Ownership metrics, driving corrective and preventive actions.
• Establish global equipment engineering standards, standardize equipment architectures, and lead equipment-related change management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in equipment engineering, manufacturing engineering, automation, or production systems.
• Experience managing complex equipment development projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation systems.
• Direct experience with equipment qualification, validation, FAT/SAT, and production release.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience with formal project management and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Experience in semiconductor, electronics, medical device, automotive, or high-volume manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT, and data analytics solutions.
