Location: Must be based in or able to work from the office in Budapest (hybrid)

What you will do

• Create and execute the vision, strategy, and metrics for global Value Engineering activities.
• Standardize Value Analysis methods and tools across the division to improve product value.
• Define and manage the value improvement ideation pipeline and feasibility assessment processes.
• Ensure effective risk identification, mitigation, and data-driven monitoring of VM initiatives.
• Train and coach cross-functional teams to foster a value-conscious product mindset.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and program teams during design milestones.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in global management or leading cross-functional teams in engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Value Management methodologies and processes.
• Technical competency in electronic products (electrical, mechanical, semiconductor components).
• Proven experience in automotive procurement processes and Design for X best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with automotive electronics.
• German and/or Chinese language skills.
