What you will do
- Conceptualise and design filtration products and integrated system solutions based on customer specifications, core technologies, and applicable standards.
- Develop customised solutions for complex applications and validate designs using calculations, sizing tools, and FEA.
- Perform stress analyses for mechanical assemblies and production orders in compliance with pressure vessel codes, regulations, and relevant norms.
- Collaborate with proposal engineering, sales, simulation, innovation, and global design teams on technical proposals, project scope, and customer-specific solutions.
- Participate in design reviews, product development, technical bidding support, and customer change requests.
- Contribute to product enhancements, Value Analysis / Value Engineering initiatives, and the development of the Filtration Engineering Centre of Excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 6 years of engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, mathematics, physics, solid mechanics, and strength of materials.
- Experience with filtration products, pressure vessel design, and international pressure vessel codes, including ASME Section VIII Division 1; Division 2 knowledge is preferred.
- Proven FEA experience, including stress analysis and simulation, with hands-on use of ANSYS Workbench or Solid Edge Simulation.
- Experience with 3D design software, preferably Solid Edge, plus MS Office and ERP systems such as SAP.
- Proficient English and Dutch are required. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, accuracy, and collaboration skills are expected.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ASME Section VIII Division 2 Design by Analysis.
- Additional language skills.
