Filtration System / Application Engineer (Filtration Technology)

What you will do

• Conceptualize and design filtration products and integrated system solutions based on customer specifications, filtration technologies, and technical standards.
• Develop tailored solutions for complex applications and validate designs using calculations, sizing tools, and FEA.
• Perform stress analyses for mechanical assemblies and production orders in accordance with pressure vessel codes, regulations, and applicable standards.
• Collaborate with proposal engineering, sales, simulation, innovation, and global design teams on technical proposals and customer-specific projects.
• Participate in design reviews, product development, customer change requests, and special application requests.
• Contribute to product portfolio development, Value Analysis / Value Engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of engineering experience on complex engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering, solid mechanics, strength of materials, mathematics, and physics.
• Experience with pressure vessel design and international codes, including ASME Section VIII Division 1; knowledge of Division 2 is preferred.
• Proven FEA experience, including stress analysis and simulation, with hands-on experience using ANSYS Workbench or Solid Edge Simulation; experience with 3D design software such as Solid Edge is preferred.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch is required. Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills are also required.
