PMO Manager (Aerospace & Defence)

Location: Portsmouth, United Kingdom; hybrid working with UK travel several times a month. Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance is required.

What you will do

• Coordinate PMO business management tools, methodologies, processes, templates, and project documentation across the full contract lifecycle.
• Support recognised business management practices, standards, continuous improvement, and Programme Governance within Space Digital.
• Build a governance-aware culture through education on project processes, tools, and reporting.
• Manage stakeholders, facilitate governance reviews, and communicate complex information clearly.
• Lead or coordinate the day-to-day management of the PMO team assigned to projects.
• Provide oversight and reporting on KPIs, issues, dependencies, Earned Value Management, project performance, and resource demand.

Requirements

• Track record working with technical projects, including scheduling, logic checking, earned value, risk management, and best practice.
• Experience in resource management, planning, and forecasting.
• Experience working within a PMO, including scheduling, cost control, risk management, and configuration control.
• Good understanding of or experience using scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Good understanding of or experience using risk analysis software such as Active Risk Manager and Primavera Risk Analysis.
• Eligibility to gain UK SC Security Clearance.
