Finance Business Partner - Operations (Life Sciences)

What you will do

• Drive Operations P&L, Capex, and Gross Margin forecasting, including detailed financial modelling.
• Prepare consistent financial reporting and analysis aligned with business goals.
• Conduct capital investment appraisals, variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
• Partner with leaders across Operations, Commercial, and Finance to provide financial expertise.
• Maintain SOX-compliant controls for revenue and cost recognition.
• Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with proven experience in a similar role.
• Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills, including Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Proficiency with financial planning systems and tools.
• Ability to work on site in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle.
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
