Finance Business Partner

TL;DR

Finance Business Partner (FP&A): Partnering with business leaders to connect financial planning, reporting and analysis to strategic decisions with an accent on forecasting, financial modelling and business performance insight. Focus on improving data quality, strengthening reporting and planning processes, and developing AI-enabled analysis for senior leadership and board decision-making.

Location: London, UK; hybrid work

Salary: £65,000–£75,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Act as a trusted FP&A partner to assigned business areas and divisional leaders.
• Lead monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and management reporting cycles.
• Translate financial data into clear narratives and recommendations for senior leadership, the board and committees.
• Support financial modelling, product profitability analysis, revenue analysis, vendor performance reviews and scorecards.
• Partner with HR and business leaders on headcount, compensation forecasting and capacity planning.
• Improve data quality, reporting processes, planning methods, finance tools and data governance.

Requirements

• Proven FP&A and finance business partnering experience, preferably in a mature organisation with structured planning and reporting processes.
• Strong financial analysis, modelling, forecasting, budgeting and management reporting skills.
• Ability to turn data into a clear business narrative and communicate confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Critical thinking, ownership and sound judgement, including the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, business or a related field.

Nice to have

• MBA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA progress or another relevant finance qualification.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, NetSuite or similar ERP and reporting tools.
• Experience with product profitability, revenue modelling, vendor analysis or scorecard reporting.
• Interest in using AI tools to improve analysis and finance workflows.
